| Det vita tyget - silkesammet, siden, lin - färgas i flera färgbad för att få den rätta färgen. Sedan trycker jag motiven med träblock som jag skär ut enligt mina teckningar. Sammeten trycks med metallpigment. Guld, koppar, silver...
Inspirationen får jag från naturen, mytologin och de olika kulturer där jag
levt och varit verksam: Från traditionella konst och zen studier i Japan, sedan 1980 talet i USA - från Californiens kreativitet, till den storslagna känslan och stillheten i New Mexicos landskap och hos Inuiterna ovan polcirkeln. 1990-talet förflöt behagligt i en blommande trädgård i en syd Fransk by, där min son föddes. Bor nu igen i Sverige, där jag har min ateljé i Drottningholmstrakten.
Jag jobbar med offentlig utsmyckning, heminredning, teater och film, ställer ut regelbundet och förser ett internationellt klientel med exklusiva textilier.

The white fabric – silkvelvet, silk, linen – is dyed in several dyebaths to get the right colour. Then I print the motif with woodblocks that I cut out according to my drawings. The velvet is printed with metal pigments. Gold, copper, silver...
I draw my inspiration from nature, mytholgy and from the various cultures where I have lived and worked: From traditional art and zen studies in Japan, then the 1980´s in USA - from the creativity of California, to beholding the magnificence and peace of the New Mexico landscape and with the Inuits above the Arctic circle. The 1990´s passed pleasantly in a flowering garden in a south of France village,where my son was born. I am now back in my native Sweden, and have my atelier at Drottningholm, near Stockhom.
I work with public commissions, interior decoration, theatre and film, I exhibit regularly and supply an international clientele with exclusive textiles.
